# Welcome to Nemo Pi Docs

## What's this all about?

Nemo Pi is a cost-effective, customizable IoT enabled smart ocean monitoring buoy for depths of up to 60 meters. Built by [Save Nemo](https://save-nemo.org), the 'Nemo Pi Smart Buoy' (often referred to as 'Nemo Pi') is capable of monitoring 20+ different chemical sensors above and below the water.
